Why Raw Foodists Don’t Eat Cooked Food



cooked-foodFirst lets look at all the animals in nature…. how many of them do you see eating cooked foods? Does a lion kill a gazelle and then cook it over an open fire? Even the carnivores in nature do not cook their food. So why would we need to cook ours?

Think about heart disease, cancer, diabetes, etc… Who gets it? Wild animals certainly don’t. Only humans and domesticated pets who are fed cooked pet foods do. If we want to be healthy, why not look to what works? A diet made up of living foods.

If you eat a diet that is almost all raw uncooked fruits, veggies, nuts and seeds you will be virtually disease-free! I am not sure what you are spending in health care costs now, but that sounds like a way to save a ton of money to me.

The main problem with cooking the food is that when it applied to heat, the food changes. It becomes denatured and the vital nutrients and enzymes are destroyed in the process.

Cooking actually makes the food toxic and your body has an immune reaction when you consume it. That is because the cooking process creates mutagens and carcinogens in what would have otherwise been a healthy life-giving meal. Proteins become coagulated and vitamins are destroyed.

Cooking takes minerals out of their organic context which makes them usuable by the body. Fats cooked at higher temperatures can become especially dangerous as they turn into acroleins, free radicals and other mutagens and carcinogens.

You are what you eat… if you eat dead foods you quickly become well… dead. Eat living foods and you will feel more lively than ever before!
