Day 8 on a Raw Food Diet

A few days ago we went to a Gardeners Market, which is sort of like a Farmers market except it is mostly people selling produce from their gardens.
I was able to get a bunch of fantastic organic fresh local greens for my smoothies. On our way home I wished I had bought even more because believe me… they will go quick!
I have been having nausea off and on, but for the most part can keep all my food down. Thank goodness! I don’t want to be throwing up all this really nice organic food.
I am still getting conventional non-organic fruit from the grocery stores because that is all I have access to, but all my greens are organic. I hope that as the summer progresses there will be more local organic fruits I will be able to get my hands on.
Even though I don’t have a ton of energy yet, I do feel better about myself knowing I am eating the healthiest way possible for my growing baby.
I have not weighed myself lately, probably wont for several more days. As long as I can maintain this weight for a while I will feel pretty good.
I would say that my diet is about 90% raw because I do include some whole grains as well. In the past when I would try going 100% it was always that whole grain cravings that would knock me off track… if I include small amounts in my diet I can stick with this forever.
