Day 10, still Loving Raw Food



I have had a lot of support from friends on Facebook, and I want to thank them all for cheering me on.  I have also had quite a few questions about why I am doing raw food, and what is it doing for me.

I initially wanted to get my weight down for health reasons, and just to feel better.  I am also concerned about my overall health, not eating right for so long, getting enough vitamins, dealing with depression and anxiety due to overload of stress.  All of these combined were my reason for going on raw food.  I had also done quite a bit of research prior to beginning and saw nothing but positive results from everyone that has switched to a raw food diet.  I figured, what have I got to lose but lbs.

I am so happy I have switched to a raw food diet, and will continue on this journey.  I have joined the Raw Food group on Facebook, and subscribe to several blogs that is teaching me more about this lifestyle.

I am sleeping better, waking up more refreshed, and feeling a greater sense of calm in spite of all the stress I am dealing with. I know for a fact that the food I eat affects me mentally, physically, and emotionally.  It is not worth eating bad food that tastes good, then feeling like crap.  I would rather eat healthy food that tastes great and then I feel great!
